About However.cx
Closing the Gap Between Achievement and Articulation
However.cx exists because talented post-sales professionals achieve remarkable results but struggle to articulate their value.
After 20+ years in post-sales leadership, I've watched this pattern block careers, undermine confidence, and limit potential.
The gap isn't capability. It's career clarity.
We provide systematic tools to surface achievements, benchmark readiness, and translate skills into compelling language—so post-sales professionals can make confident career decisions.
However you define success, you're more than your title.
The Founder Story
Why I Built This
The Pattern I Saw
In 20+ years of post-sales leadership across APAC—Customer Success, Account Management, Implementation teams—I watched incredibly talented professionals struggle with one thing: seeing their own value.
They would: → Retain 95%+ of their customers → Navigate impossible stakeholder situations
→ Drive adoption against all odds → Build relationships that generated millions in revenue
But when I asked them: "What are you good at?"
Silence. Or worse, they'd downplay it: "I'm just good with people."
The Leadership Frustration
As a leader, I could see it clearly. I could see their superpowers. I could see the patterns in what made them successful. I could articulate their value better than they could.
But they couldn't see it themselves.
The Gap That Blocks Careers
That gap—between what you've achieved and your ability to recognize and articulate it—is what holds back careers.
It's why talented professionals: → Freeze in interviews when asked about achievements → Undersell themselves on resumes and LinkedIn → Miss promotions because they can't advocate effectively → Feel imposter syndrome despite clear success → Struggle with career transitions because they can't position their value
The Traditional Solutions Don't Work
Career coaching? $200-500 per session. Out of reach for most individual contributors.
Generic career advice? One-size-fits-all doesn't understand post-sales relationship skills or digital transformation pressures.
Training platforms? Focus on new skills, not helping you articulate existing value.
Personality tests? Tell you your "type" but not how to translate achievements into career materials.
What Was Missing
Systematic, affordable, self-directed tools specifically designed for post-sales professionals.
Tools that respect your intelligence and give you frameworks to: → Surface achievements you've forgotten or downplayed → Identify patterns you're too close to your career to see → Benchmark where you stand against market expectations → Translate relationship skills into compelling business language → Create practical career materials (resumes, interview stories, LinkedIn content)
So I Built Them
However.cx is the toolkit I wish I'd had throughout my career. The frameworks I used as a leader to help team members see their value. The systematic processes that work.
Not motivation. Not generic advice. Career clarity through AI-enabled frameworks and objective assessments.

Why "However"
The Philosophy Behind the Name
"However" is a transition word that acknowledges where you are while opening possibility for where you're going.
It's not "but" - which dismisses what came before It's not "and" - which adds burden without transformation It's "however" - which transforms
However you transition From Account Management to Customer Success. From post-sales to Product. From individual contributor to leadership.
However your skills translate Relationship-building becomes strategic stakeholder management. Problem-solving becomes technical troubleshooting. Empathy becomes customer intelligence.
However you define success Senior leadership. Specialized expertise. Work-life balance. Regional opportunities. Starting your own thing.
However you feel right now Lost, uncertain, questioning, confident, ready, scared—wherever you are is valid. Career clarity helps you move forward from there.
However you're more than your title Customer Success Manager, Account Manager, Implementation Specialist—these are what you do, not who you are. Your value transcends job titles.
The "However" journey is personal. These tools help you navigate it with clarity.

What We Believe
Our Core Values
Five Values:
1. Career Clarity Is a Right, Not a Luxury You shouldn't need to spend thousands on coaching to understand your own value. Professional-grade career tools should be accessible to individual contributors.
2. Relationship Skills Are Strategic Assets Your ability to build relationships, navigate stakeholders, and create customer value isn't "soft skills"—it's strategic capability. It just needs better language.
3. Self-Directed Beats Hand-Holding You're intelligent and capable. You don't need someone to hold your hand—you need frameworks, tools, and systematic processes you can apply yourself.
4. Evidence Beats Motivation Inspirational quotes don't close the career clarity gap. Objective data, systematic frameworks, and practical tools do. We focus on evidence-based approaches, not motivation.
5. However You Define Success There's no single "right" career path. Senior leadership isn't better than specialized expertise. Big company isn't better than startup. Your definition of success is valid—our tools help you achieve it.

What We Don't Do
What However.cx Is Not
We're not a coaching service. We provide tools for self-directed career clarity. If you want personalized one-on-one guidance, we can recommend excellent coaches.
We're not a job placement service. These tools help you gain career clarity, not find job openings. We help you articulate your value—what you do with that is up to you.
We're not a training platform. We don't teach new skills. We help you surface, understand, and articulate the skills and achievements you already have.
We're not quick fixes. The Career Intelligence Guide takes 20-30 hours. Real career clarity requires real work. If you want instant answers, this isn't it.
We're not for everyone. If you want someone to tell you what to do, want guaranteed job placement, or aren't willing to do structured self-reflection—However.cx won't be a good fit.
We are systematic tools for professionals ready to invest in their own career clarity.
Regional Focus - APAC
Why APAC Matters
Regional Salary Benchmarks: Our Digital Readiness Assessment includes APAC-specific salary ranges ($55K-$350K AUD) tied to proficiency levels. Not US salaries converted to AUD—actual regional market data.
Cultural Context: APAC post-sales roles emphasize relationship-building and cultural intelligence differently than US markets. Our tools recognize and value these regional dynamics.
Market Understanding: Career pathways in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore differ from US trajectories. We understand regional opportunities, company landscapes, and market expectations.
Language Localization: "Customer Success Manager" vs. "Client Services Manager." "Implementation" vs. "Onboarding." We use regional terminology and understand local variations.
However.cx was built by an APAC post-sales leader for APAC post-sales professionals.
